Security Analyst L1 – 1‑Year Renewable Contract

About the role

We are seeking a Security Analyst L1 to support our security operations team on a 1‑year renewable contract. The role involves monitoring identity and access events, endpoint alerts, and cloud security dashboards to detect and respond to potential threats.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor Entra ID sign‑in logs, authentication alerts and MFA failures.
• Perform first‑level triage of suspicious login attempts and abnormal sign‑in patterns.
• Review Exchange Online Protection spam/phishing alerts and Trend Micro endpoint alerts.
• Monitor CyberArk EPM & PAM alerts and Azure security dashboards.
• Create and update security incident tickets, follow runbooks for initial investigations, and escalate confirmed threats to L2 Security Engineer.
• Track certificate expiry alerts, validate Conditional Access policy failures, and maintain daily security monitoring reports.
• Participate in shift handover documentation, ensure SLA compliance for ticket updates, and maintain proper incident documentation.

Required profile

• Degree in IT or a related discipline.
• Basic understanding of PKI and certificate management.
• Familiarity with ITSM or ticketing tools.

Required skills

• Microsoft Entra ID (basic administration) and Active Directory authentication monitoring.
• Microsoft MFA and Conditional Access policy management.
• Exchange Online Protection.
• Trend Micro endpoint and email security.
• CyberArk EPM & PAM.
• Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and Microsoft Defender (monitoring level).
• Basic PKI awareness.
• ITSM / ticketing tools.
