Senior Accountant – Collections

About the role

Join the LEGO Group as a Senior Accountant focused on Collections, supporting Accounts Receivable operations across APAC markets. You will work from our Singapore office, driving high‑quality cash‑flow management and customer‑centered service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage debt‑collection activities for Australia and New Zealand portfolios within APAC.
• Follow up on overdue balances, advise on payment allocation and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Act as the primary contact for customers to settle disputes, claims, deductions and payment issues.
• Release customer orders in line with credit‑limit policies.
• Prepare and distribute weekly aging reports and debtor reporting to partners.
• Reconcile customer accounts and provide statements of account as required.
• Participate in Credit Risk Wheel discussions to highlight collection risks.
• Support provision calculations for doubtful and bad debts, including adjustments and reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience in accounts receivable or collections, preferably with international exposure.
• Background in a collaborative global Shared Service Centre environment.
• Advanced English (C1) for effective communication with customers.
• Strong business and market understanding at operational and tactical levels.
• Proactive attitude with strong collaboration abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Advanced proficiency in SAP (strong advantage).
