Senior Accountant – Real Estate Investment (Singapore)

About the role

The leading real‑estate investment business seeks a Senior Accountant to join its Singapore finance team. You will be responsible for end‑to‑end accounting, reporting, tax and treasury functions supporting a regional investment portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting for Singapore and regional real‑estate investment entities, including general ledger maintenance, balance‑sheet reconciliations and property acquisition accounting.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management accounts, supporting audits and external auditors.
• Produce regular financial, management and investor reports, cash‑flow forecasts and variance analysis for senior management and investors.
• Coordinate Singapore corporate tax, GST compliance and liaise with external tax advisers.
• Oversee treasury activities, cash‑management, banking relationships and debt administration across the Singapore entities.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline; qualified accountant or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• 3–8 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within real‑estate investment, private‑equity or fund management.
• Strong understanding of Singapore accounting and tax requirements and experience working with external auditors and tax advisers.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills for financial modelling and reporting.
• Proficiency with accounting/ERP systems.
