Senior Analytics Manager (Payments)

About the role

Grab is looking for a Senior Analytics Manager (Payments) to lead its payments analytics teams within the Grab Financial Services ecosystem. The team works with Product, Business, Engineering, Design and Data Science to define data requirements, track key metrics and turn data into actionable insights, evaluating new business and product ideas. The role reports to the Head of Analytics, GrabFin & Platform, is based onsite at the Grab Singapore office and offers opportunities to shape data strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Explore business opportunities, formulate data-driven hypotheses and adapt in-production models to new markets
• Design, run and analyse controlled experiments with product and engineering teams
• Build advanced statistical models (e.g. mixed effect, causal inference) and anomaly detection systems for product metrics
• Develop analytics tools that help teams debug and summarise data
• Coach analysts on statistical rigor and modern analytics techniques
• Drive the team's adoption of LLM and GenAI-assisted workflows (natural language to SQL, automated insights) and embed AI into internal tooling

Required profile

• At least 8 years of experience in analytics, product/business analytics or data strategy, ideally in payments or direct-to-consumer with large, high-velocity data
• Master's degree in a quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Operations Research, Statistics or related)
• Proven track record of using quantitative analysis to influence product management and business decisions
• Experience engaging with AI tools and emerging technologies to improve productivity

Required skills

• Advanced SQL for data querying and manipulation
• Data visualization tools such as PowerBI
• Big Data technologies such as Spark and PySpark
• Hands-on experience running controlled experiments
