Senior Assistant Manager, Academic Learning

About the role

Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore) is hiring a Senior Assistant Manager, Academic Learning to lead and run the business development and operations of its Master of Science in Technopreneurship and Innovation Programme (MSc TIP) and the FlexiMasters in Technopreneurship and Innovation (FM TIP). The role works closely with the lead of the postgraduate team, the Academic Director and the Deputy Director of NTU Entrepreneurship Academy (NTUpreneur), and covers marketing, outreach, recruitment, admissions, student and alumni engagement, budgeting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute the business development initiative for MSc TIP and FM TIP, including market research, data analysis and programme outreach with partners and stakeholders.
• Plan and run programme info sessions, roadshows and local and overseas events, develop publicity content and prepare programme collaterals.
• Oversee digital marketing campaigns, social media content and alumni success stories, and track the effectiveness of outreach to adjust the marketing approach.
• Handle student queries, wellbeing and integration, plan student engagement activities, and oversee administrative support for the programme.
• Oversee experiential learning such as company visits and ecosystem exposure, and the Venture Internship elective module.
• Plan and oversee the operating budget and grants, process grant claims, and attend to audit queries.
• Supervise executives and senior executives to ensure strong value propositions and excellent administration.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree from a recognised university.
• Preferably 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in a university environment.
• Knowledge of entrepreneurship and the start-up ecosystem.
• Experience working with professors and students, government agencies and international organisations is advantageous.

Required skills

• Knowledge of marketing, branding and project management.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
