Senior Assistant Manager, Corporate Development

About the role

The Institute of Mental Health (IMH) in Singapore, a 2,000-bed psychiatric hospital established in 1928, is recruiting a Senior Assistant Manager for its Corporate Development function. The incumbent supports the function in advancing the organisation's strategic priorities, partnerships and institutional development agenda through strategic, organisational and partnership-related initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support strategic planning, policy development and organisational performance initiatives, including research, environmental scanning and analysis to support management decisions and long-term planning
• Support strategic partnerships, stakeholder engagement and advocacy to strengthen the organisation's positioning and institutional impact
• Contribute to organisational capability-building, transformation, talent development and alignment projects, and facilitate cross-functional initiatives
• Support governance, corporate reporting and coordination, including preparing management papers, corporate submissions, presentations and reports for leadership discussions
• Coordinate engagements with internal and external stakeholders and support corporate events and organisational initiatives
• Take part in cross-functional projects and be deployed across workstreams within the department as priorities and needs change

Required profile

• Degree holder with approximately 8 years of working experience
• Experience in the healthcare and social sectors; government sector experience is a key advantage but not required
• Candidates with relevant experience in strategy, policy, organisational development, healthcare, public sector, consulting, communications or corporate planning may be considered for more senior appointments
