Senior Assistant Manager, Finance Planning and Analysis

About the role

The Senior Assistant Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis leads the business unit's financial planning activities, operational finance oversight and financial governance support. It strengthens financial performance through structured analysis, operational visibility, financial controls and risk identification, and supports performance monitoring, revenue completeness, compliance with institutional and external requirements and informed decisions for senior leadership. The role complements the Finance Business Partner, who handles higher-level planning and strategic transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage financial planning, budgeting and forecasting.
• Drive financial analysis, performance evaluation, pricing and margin review.
• Oversee finance governance and financial controls.
• Perform policy impact assessments and communicate the implications of policy and system changes.
• Ensure compliance with financial, regulatory and audit requirements.
• Provide insightful KPI and performance reporting for management.
• Support continuous improvement and oversee finance staff.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy/Finance or equivalent professional qualifications.
• Chartered Accountant with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Highly adaptable, with good time management and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding working relations management.

Required skills

• Knowledge of SAP, Ariba, Denodo, Workday and PowerBI is advantageous.
