Senior Assistant Manager, Investigational Medicine Unit (2-Year Contract)

About the role

SingHealth Investigational Medicine Unit (IMU) is an early-phase clinical research unit supporting commercial partners and independent investigators, specialising in oncology, haematology, cardiology, gastroenterology, infectious disease and endocrinology. As a Senior Assistant Manager on a 2-year contract, you join the research support team delivering trial-related services and acting as part of the administration team for clinical trials contracted to IMU.

Key responsibilities

• Healthy volunteer recruitment: implement and oversee outreach campaigns using marketing tools, attend to public enquiries, update the volunteer database and help Clinical Research Coordinators recruit volunteers in line with protocol requirements.
• Administer meetings, maintain office filing systems and submit monthly tracking worksheets to management.
• Assist in administering and organising training courses, seminars and conferences for internal and external participants.
• Mentor and train junior team members on the job, fostering teamwork, accountability and continuous learning.

Required profile

• Degree in science or a relevant field.
• At least 5 years of secretarial and administrative experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, initiative and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Flexible about working hours due to events and projects handled by the department.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
