Senior Assistant Manager / Manager / Senior Manager - Healthcare Technology Planning & Development

About the role

NHG Health is hiring a Senior Assistant Manager, Manager or Senior Manager for its Medical Tower Planning and Development (MT P&D) team in the CEO's Office. The role supports the planning and delivery of healthcare technology, digital, automation and technology-enabled operational requirements for the TTSH Medical Tower, which is part of the HealthCity Novena Master Plan. It is a broad programme and coordination role covering IT infrastructure and systems planning, Synapxe deliverables and procurement timelines, and automation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate healthcare IT requirements across clinical, operational and building workstreams, working with IT stakeholders, Synapxe, MOHH, consultants and users to identify and validate requirements, including LAN rooms, network connectivity, Wi-Fi and cabling.
• Ensure IT requirements and dependencies are built into design, construction and operational-readiness programmes, and track outstanding decisions and escalations.
• Support planning and procurement of IT systems, equipment and services, including specifications, cost estimates, funding submissions, tenders and evaluation, and maintain an IT procurement schedule aligned with construction and handover milestones.
• Coordinate automation, robotics and other technology-enabled initiatives with MOHH and the Multidisciplinary Team, ensuring they interface correctly with the tower's IT infrastructure and building systems.
• Act as a coordination point among clinical users, Operations, Synapxe, consultants, contractors and vendors, prepare updates and presentations for management and governance committees, and manage multiple workstreams under tight timelines.
• Coordinate IT installation, testing, commissioning and user acceptance, and ensure systems, workflows, training and support are ready before service starts.

Required profile

• Recognised degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration or a related discipline.
• At least 5-8 years of relevant experience, preferably in a hospital, healthcare institution or major healthcare development project.
• Background in healthcare is advantageous, with a strong understanding of how clinical and operational functions intersect in a hospital.
• Experience coordinating healthcare IT infrastructure, system implementation, procurement or operational-readiness activities.
• Experience working with healthcare IT partners such as Synapxe, vendors, consultants and multidisciplinary project teams is advantageous.
