Senior / Associate Executive, Operations Support Services (Event Support)

About the role

The National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS), part of SingHealth, is recruiting a Senior / Associate Executive for Operations Support Services, reporting to the Event Support, Telecom & ROF Services Lead. You will oversee a team that provides day-to-day operations and administrative support for Event Support and Audio-Visual (AV) systems.

Key responsibilities

• Manage contracts related to AV services and vendors
• Coordinate venue setup and manage overall logistics
• Operate and troubleshoot AV equipment and provide live technical support during events
• Manage an inventory of AV equipment and maintain its condition
• Act as the primary point of contact for all technical aspects of events
• Manage the Facility Reservation System, including approvals, facility, rental and manpower rates
• Assist the Service Lead in tracking key performance indicators, event support income, expenses and budget planning

Required profile

• Minimum a Diploma in Audio-Visual (AV) Technology, Infocomm Technology or a related discipline
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the healthcare industry
• Strong administrative, problem-solving, written and communication skills
• Able to stay after office hours or on weekends and public holidays to support events when required

Required skills

• Knowledge of AV system design concepts, projectors, sound systems, computer hardware and the Windows operating system
• Basic knowledge of Creston and Extron products is an added advantage
• Event coordinating skills are an added advantage
