Senior Avionics Technician

About the role

Collins Aerospace, part of RTX, the world's largest aerospace and defence company, is hiring an Avionics Repair Technician in Singapore. You will test, calibrate, troubleshoot, repair and modify avionics Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) in line with approved technical data, service bulletins and quality and regulatory requirements. The position is onsite.

Key responsibilities

• Perform functional tests, self-tests, calibration and verification of automated and manual test equipment.
• Troubleshoot customer avionics LRUs, carry out repairs and service bulletin modifications, and return units to serviceable condition.
• Verify repair quality and workmanship, keep accurate technical records and ensure compliance with approved procedures.
• Maintain workplace housekeeping, support CORE and continuous improvement initiatives, mentor junior technicians and follow supervisor instructions.

Required profile

• Background in electronics, aerospace engineering or a related technical discipline, with basic knowledge of electronic circuits and avionics systems.
• Detail-oriented, with strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, proactive about continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Required skills

• Familiarity with test equipment, measurement instruments and functional testing procedures.
• Understanding of technical documentation, quality assurance and regulatory compliance in aviation component maintenance.
