Senior Business Analyst – Tax & Regulatory (Banking IT)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst specialized in Tax and Regulatory domains to join a leading banking client in Singapore. The role bridges European and Asian banking processes, ensuring compliance with complex tax regulations while supporting digital transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and document requirements from end‑users and Product Owners, creating detailed user stories.
• Perform functional analysis across multiple systems and interfaces.
• Collaborate with developers on system design, development and unit testing.
• Define and oversee SIT strategy, write test cases, execute tests and support UAT.
• Ensure production readiness, contributing to governance, security and architecture deliverables.
• Diagnose issues, propose solutions and communicate with stakeholders.
• Facilitate meetings, maintain documentation and support vendor management.
• Assist project lifecycle activities, including PM/SM coordination.

Required profile

• 8+ years of IT experience in banking, with at least 5 years focused on Tax/Regulatory topics such as German Tax, AEOI/CRS, FATCA, IRS 871m.
• Strong knowledge of Wealth Management operations and financial products.
• Experience working with large, distributed IT teams on SaaS/Cloud projects.
• Familiarity with banking systems such as Olympic, TRANSACT and AAA.
