Senior Business Support, Shipping & Logistics

About the role

West Pharmaceutical Services is hiring a Senior Business Support for its Jurong site. This is an onsite position covering all scheduled workdays, with no relocation assistance. The role manages all shipments so they are accurate, properly documented and delivered on time.

Key responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end shipping operations (sea, air, FCL, LCL and similar).
• Book shipments on time to meet OTIF delivery standards and choose carriers and routes that give the best performance.
• Create and check shipment documents such as delivery notes, picking lists, invoices, labels and quality certificates, and coordinate HBL, MBL, COO and permits.
• Apply for insurance, certificates of origin, SICC and FTA, and export permits.
• Collaborate with QA on quality certificates, negotiate letters of credit, and work with carriers, forwarders, customer service and warehouses.
• Resolve shipment issues and delays, notify customers promptly and file documents efficiently.
• Courier sample packages, train new staff, maintain master data and lead ad-hoc projects.

Required profile

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in shipping or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of import/export procedures, Incoterms and customs clearance.
• Advantageous: knowledge of Letter of Credit documentation, PortNet, TradeNet and invoicing, SAP, and a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work outside normal business hours and to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
