Senior Category Supplier Manager – Facilities Procurement

About the role

Micron’s Global Procurement team is seeking a senior professional to lead category strategy and strategic sourcing for facilities equipment. The role partners with internal customers and regional category managers to drive cost savings, supply resilience and supplier performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and validate category strategies for facilities equipment in collaboration with global and regional category managers.
• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, including negotiations for contract extensions, renewals and price adjustments.
• Drive cost‑management targets, scorecard metrics and category savings/revenue goals.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal customers to ensure a customer‑centric approach and improve supply‑chain efficiency.
• Integrate AI‑assisted tools and insights into daily procurement activities to enhance efficiency and decision‑making.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in semiconductor industry or EPC facilities equipment sales/procurement.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in category management, strategic sourcing and negotiation.

Required skills

• Microsoft Copilot or comparable AI‑enabled productivity tools.
• AI‑assisted research, analysis and content creation tools.
