Senior Category Supplier Manager II, Facilities Procurement

About the role

Micron's Global Procurement team is looking for a Senior Category Supplier Manager for facilities procurement. You will develop category strategies for managed categories, validate them with Global and Regional Category Managers and internal partners, and run strategic sourcing initiatives, negotiations and cost management. The role builds strong relationships with internal customers to deliver cost, supply and resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Establish processes to track supplier satisfaction for facilities equipment.
• Develop category strategies for managed categories and validate them with Global and Regional Category Managers and internal partners.
• Drive category savings and revenue, and set scorecard metric targets.
• Lead or take part in negotiations for contract extensions and renewals, price renegotiations and transfers.
• Partner with customers to deliver strategic solutions and represent Procurement in a customer-centric way.
• Use AI-assisted tools and share AI-enabled improvements within your scope of work.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in semiconductor industry or EPC functions, including facilities equipment sales or procurement.
• Diploma or bachelor's degree in business, engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in category management and strategic sourcing.
• Strong negotiating and analytical skills, and strong communication skills for managing relationships.

Required skills

• Baseline digital fluency and role-appropriate AI literacy for research, analysis, content creation and problem-solving.
• Preferred: advanced material cost structure understanding and analysis.
• Preferred: advanced experience with Microsoft Copilot or other AI tools.
