Senior Consultant – IFRS 17 Solutions (Financial Services – Insurance)

About the role

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant to lead IFRS 17 solution design for insurance clients. You will work within the Financial Services practice, collaborating with multi‑disciplinary teams to translate regulatory requirements into functional designs and sustainable business solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Review and provide feedback on client‑developed business requirements to ensure clarity and completeness.
• Formulate functional designs that support IFRS 17 implementation, coordinating with actuarial, finance, and IT stakeholders.
• Participate in solutioning workshops, guiding client decision‑making and leveraging subject‑matter experts across workstreams.
• Support the architecting of data, system, and process solutions that meet business objectives.
• Advise technical development teams on refining technical designs and ensuring alignment with functional specifications.
• Collaborate with finance professionals to deliver innovative, sustainable solutions that enhance insight and efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial services consulting, preferably with exposure to IFRS 17 projects.
• Strong analytical abilities and a solid understanding of insurance finance, actuarial, and IT processes.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to work in high‑performing, multi‑disciplinary environments.
