Senior Consultant - Presales & Solution Architecture

About the role

NCS is looking for an experienced Senior Consultant (Presales, Solution Architect) in Singapore. As a trusted advisor to enterprise clients, you will design solutions that meet complex business needs and bridge client requirements with technical capabilities, playing a key part in the presales process and solution development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead presales and solution design engagements with enterprise clients, turning business requirements into technical solutions
• Run discovery sessions and business analysis to understand client objectives, pain points and constraints
• Present solution proposals, architecture diagrams and business cases to C-level executives and technical stakeholders
• Work with sales teams on opportunity identification, deal progression and solution viability
• Design scalable, secure and cost-effective solutions using industry best practices and emerging technologies
• Mentor junior consultants and implementation teams and guide them through the project lifecycle
• Analyse competitors and market trends, and manage complex stakeholder relationships
• Take part in RFP/RFQ processes with detailed technical specifications and implementation roadmaps

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in consulting, presales or solution architecture
• Proven expertise in designing enterprise solutions for complex organisations
• Client engagement, stakeholder management and relationship-building experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
• Experience gathering business requirements, process mapping and gap analysis
• Project management experience managing multiple concurrent engagements
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud) and modern enterprise architectures
• Industry domain expertise in areas such as digital transformation, financial services, healthcare or manufacturing
• Singapore citizenship required due to project sensitivity

Required skills

• Hands-on knowledge of enterprise software platforms (ERP, CRM, cloud infrastructure)
• Creating technical documentation, architecture diagrams and solution proposals
• Familiarity with RFP/RFQ processes and sales enablement
• Ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
