Senior Contract Analyst

About the role

Micron is hiring a Senior Contract Analyst to handle contract management, tendering and commercial support for its projects. The role involves drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts with clients, subcontractors and suppliers, managing claims and disputes, and supporting construction projects to meet legal, regulatory and company standards. Travel is required, and candidates may be assigned to manage or support projects in Taiwan, Japan, China, Singapore or Malaysia.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors and suppliers, and ensure compliance with contractual terms
• Identify and mitigate contractual risks and safeguard the firm's interests
• Allocate resources effectively across contract administration and tendering functions
• Ensure construction projects meet agreed legal, regulatory and company standards
• Keep records of all contract-related correspondence and documentation
• Manage claims, variations and dispute resolution processes
• Serve as the single point of contact for contractual matters and attend site meetings to monitor progress
• Liaise with technical and financial staff, subcontractors, legal teams and the client's representatives
• Manage construction schedules and deal with unexpected costs
• Complete contract close-out, extensions or renewals as appropriate, and resolve issues internally and externally
• Advise stakeholders on contract matters and assist with tenders and commercial bids on behalf of Micron
• Use AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency and share AI-enabled improvements

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher; Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or Legal degrees preferred
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and strong project management skills
• Demonstrated negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Strong written communication and document drafting skills
• Able to communicate clearly with stakeholders and meet project objectives within constraints

Required skills

• Proficiency in contract modelling software, with contract management, procurement or legal experience
• Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project and Visio
