Senior Cost Accountant – Manufacturing (Tuas)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to lead manufacturing costing activities for our operations in Tuas. You will work closely with Production and R&D teams to ensure accurate product costing, inventory control, and compliance with accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage standard setting, standard costing, and cost variance analysis.
• Collaborate with Production and R&D on product costing and inventory management.
• Prepare monthly operating reports, KPI dashboards, and data analytics.
• Partner with operations on process‑improvement and cost‑control projects.
• Execute physical inventory counts, month‑end closing, and related journal entries (cost accruals, GIT, inventory adjustments).
• Maintain Bill of Materials and item master records; support audits and external requests.
• Undertake ad‑hoc assignments and special projects as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
• Proven ability to analyse production variances and investigate cost discrepancies.
