Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

The Senior DevOps Engineer will own the design, implementation and operation of a scalable, secure AWS environment that supports Java and .NET application stacks. Working closely with development, platform and DBA teams, you will automate delivery pipelines, manage container orchestration and optimise database performance to ensure high availability and rapid incident response.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and scale secure AWS infrastructure, including EC2, S3, RDS and EKS.
• Design, build and optimise CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins for Java and .NET applications.
• Containerise applications using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes (EKS).
• Monitor, analyse and fine‑tune performance of Oracle, MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases.
• Implement security, backup/recovery and access‑control policies across dev, test and production environments.
• Collaborate with software engineering, DBA and cloud/platform teams to improve automation, delivery speed and reliability.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience as a DevOps Engineer in a cloud‑focused environment.
• Strong background in supporting both Java and .NET application lifecycles.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot performance bottlenecks in complex systems.
• Excellent collaboration skills with cross‑functional technical teams.
