Senior Engineer - Process Integration (RFSOI)

About the role

GlobalFoundries is a full-service semiconductor foundry offering design, development and fabrication services. This position is a process integration lead in the development, optimization and qualification of semiconductor devices and processes to meet performance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development, optimization and qualification of semiconductor devices and processes.
• Design, run and analyse DOE experiments.
• Work with partner process module engineers to improve device and yield performance.
• Drive technical process problem solving and interact with internal and external customers on technical queries.
• Define new technology design rules, test structures and test methodologies.
• Innovate new methods of continuous process and device improvement.
• Carry out all activities safely and in line with environmental, health, safety and security requirements.

Required profile

• Degree, Master's or PhD in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• More than 2 years of relevant experience for PhD holders, more than 5 years for degree holders.
• Wafer fab process integration experience is required.

Preferred qualifications

• Knowledge of semiconductor device physics and/or RF fundamentals (e.g. S-parameters).
• Excellent analytical and optimization skills.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
