Senior Executive / Assistant Manager, Finance

About the role

The Office of Finance at NTU is recruiting a Senior Executive / Assistant Manager, Finance. The role supports the Manager in ensuring the effective and efficient running of all administrative and finance matters related to the school's financial services, serving staff from academics and administration to students and faculty.

Key responsibilities

• Verify and guide all travel-related applications and reimbursement claims
• Handle payment requests, claims and AP invoices
• Assist in monthly, quarterly and year-end financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and closing
• Keep fixed asset records accurate and up to date
• Assist in the annual physical fixed asset count and disposal process
• Take on other ad hoc requests and projects

Required profile

• Diploma or degree graduate in accounting, finance or business, or equivalent
• At least 3 years of accounting or finance experience with a diploma
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong analytical, numerical, organisational and problem-solving skills
• Able to multi-task, manage time and meet deadlines
• Able to work independently and within a team

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Familiarity with SAP, Workday, TRS, ECS, Ariba, Zoom and Teams is advantageous
