Senior Executive / Assistant Manager, Retail Education

About the role

Kendo, which owns beauty brands such as KVD Vegan Beauty, Fenty Beauty, Fenty Skin, Ole Henriksen and Lip Lab, is hiring an Assistant Manager / Senior Executive for Retail and Education in Southeast Asia. The role translates regional Retail and Education strategy into consistent execution, acting as the bridge between strategy and the retail floor so that brand priorities, launches, education programmes and retail initiatives deliver stronger Beauty Advisor capability, better customer experience and commercial results. It combines field leadership, people management and project management.

Key responsibilities

• Weekly store visits covering key doors, launches and underperforming stores, coaching Beauty Advisors on artistry, product knowledge, shade matching, consultation and link selling, and assessing sales, stock, merchandising and brand execution
• Manage Beauty Advisors directly: set expectations, track sales targets, IPT and other KPIs, run performance check-ins and coaching, and partner on recruitment, onboarding and succession planning
• Own Retail and Education projects end to end, from planning and timelines to execution, measurement and post-mortem, including launches, trainings, events and retailer programmes
• Deliver classroom, virtual and in-store education, localising global and regional programmes while keeping brand standards
• Report key Retail and Education KPIs and turn field observations into monthly reports with recommendations

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• 3-5 years' experience in Retail, Education, Field Sales, Makeup Artistry or a related beauty role; prestige beauty experience preferred
• Previous experience managing, coaching or developing Beauty Advisors and retail teams
• Able to spend about 50% of working time in the field and travel across Southeast Asia
