Senior Full-Stack Engineer – APAC AI Hub

About the role

We’re seeking a Senior Specialist, Full‑Stack Engineer to join the APAC AI Hub in Singapore. The role focuses on building and supporting AI‑powered products and platform capabilities for BNY’s enterprise environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, deploy and maintain AI‑driven application features, backend services, APIs and automation.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to implement capabilities using large language models, retrieval‑augmented generation, prompt engineering and agentic workflows.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable code; participate in code reviews, automated testing and documentation.
• Support prototyping, evaluate models and tools, and analyse outputs to improve solution quality and performance.
• Troubleshoot defects, monitor services and implement enhancements following enterprise change‑control processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of software engineering experience, preferably with applied AI/ML in an enterprise setting.
• Strong ability to learn new technologies quickly and communicate effectively across technical and non‑technical teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python and modern development frameworks.
• Experience with source control, CI/CD pipelines and cloud‑based development environments.
• Knowledge of large language models, prompt engineering, retrieval‑augmented generation and model APIs.
• Background in building backend services, APIs and automated testing.
