Senior Legal Counsel – APAC M&A

About the role

We are looking for a senior legal professional to join our APAC legal team in Singapore. The role is highly commercial, supporting investments, financings, co‑investments and divestments across Asia‑Pacific and the Middle East. You will work closely with investment professionals, external counsel and portfolio companies to drive complex cross‑border transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support M&A, investment, financing and divestment transactions throughout the APAC region.
• Advise on transaction structuring, risk assessment, negotiation and execution.
• Partner with deal teams and external counsel across the investment lifecycle.
• Provide legal support for portfolio company matters and strategic initiatives.
• Assist with regulatory, compliance and fund‑related matters across the region.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with 8‑10 years post‑qualification experience.
• Strong background in M&A, private equity, infrastructure or finance transactions.
• Proven track record handling complex cross‑border deals.
• Commercial, pragmatic and solutions‑oriented mindset.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Prior in‑house experience is advantageous but not required.
