Senior Manager, Corporate Planning

About the role

The Corporate Planning (CP) team sits within STB's Strategic & Corporate Planning division, which sets the strategic direction of Singapore's tourism sector, assesses risks and advances the Tourism 2040 roadmap. It also manages STB's engagement with the Board of Directors and the parent ministry, MTI. The role leads the corporate planning cycle, sets targets, monitors performance and reports to the Board and ministry, working closely with the Strategic Planning team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the workstream on STB's performance indicators and targets: analyse performance against corporate indicators, propose leading indicators, set benchmarks, align with line units, run regular performance reviews for senior management and manage annual reporting to the Board and MTI.
• Help set up the Management Dashboard on STB's data analytics platform, working with technology teams on visualisations and user experience.
• Act as STB's deskhead for MTI: manage reporting platforms and updates for MTI senior management, discuss KPIs and priorities, oversee ministry-level requests and collate input and data for ad-hoc initiatives.
• Organise the annual corporate planning cycle for senior management and business units, and develop guidance materials to help business units and market offices build strong tourism strategies.
• Support industry engagement platforms such as the Tourism Industry Conference (TIC).

Required profile

• Strong interest in the tourism sector.
• At least 5 years of working experience.
• Good stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, able to navigate diverse and sometimes competing interests.
• Strong analytical skills, good business acumen, judgement and a learning orientation.
• Good verbal and written communication.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis is preferred.
• Relevant experience in corporate planning is an advantage.
