Senior Manager, FP&A

About the role

Airwallex, the AI-native financial operating system used by more than 675,000 businesses, is hiring a Senior Manager, FP&A for its Finance & Corporate Development team. Based in Singapore, you will be the lead finance partner for the global commercial organisation, working closely with Sales, Marketing and other GTM teams to shape efficient growth across markets and products. You will own end-to-end quarterly and annual budgeting and forecasting for revenue and commercial spend, build the KPI and reporting backbone for GTM performance, and provide financial insights that guide senior management decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the overall financial planning and analysis strategy aligned with company objectives and financial goals.
• Lead quarterly and annual budgeting and forecasting for Commercial / GTM, ensuring accuracy, consistency and alignment with the long-range plan, EBITDA targets and budgeting policy.
• Monitor KPIs, analyse financial data and report on areas of concern to senior management to support business planning and decision-making.
• Work with regional GMs and business leaders across Sales, Marketing and Partnerships to analyse profitability, cost management and revenue enhancement opportunities by region, product and segment, turning findings into concrete actions and trade-off recommendations.
• Drive the integration of AI and machine learning into FP&A processes to automate routine analyses, shorten budgeting and reporting cycles, improve predictive modelling and enable more agile, data-driven work across Finance, Commercial, Data and Finance Architecture teams.
• Foster a high-performance, collaborative FP&A culture, mentor junior resources and provide guidance and development opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, a quantitative discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of progressive FP&A or commercial finance experience, with clear ownership of budgeting, forecasting and reporting in high-growth businesses.
• Extensive experience partnering with GTM, Sales and Marketing teams, including revenue forecasting, pipeline analytics and unit economics (CAC, LTV, payback, retention).
• Track record of translating financial analysis into clear recommendations for senior, non-finance stakeholders.
• Comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, with experience building or upgrading FP&A processes beyond day-to-day operations.
• Preferred: early-career Big 4, investment banking, private equity or consulting training followed by in-house corporate finance roles; FP&A experience in a fast-growing tech or fintech company; experience managing and developing FP&A analysts.

Required skills

• Advanced financial modelling in Excel/Google Sheets, with driver-based forecasts and scenario analyses on large datasets.
• Preferred: hands-on experience with modern FP&A/BI tools such as Pigment, Anaplan, Databricks, Tableau and Looker, and SQL for data extraction.
