Senior Manager - Solution Engineering (APAC)

About the role

Airwallex, the AI-native financial operating system used by more than 675,000 businesses, is hiring a Solutions Engineering Manager in Singapore. You will lead a team of five and support both Enterprise and SME sales organisations across APAC, partnering with Engineering Leads, Product Managers and C-level executives to deliver product demos, propose solutions and own the technical parts of the end-to-end sales cycle. The role is hybrid, with three days per week in the Singapore office.

Key responsibilities

• Manage team outcomes, deliver OKRs and allocate resources to meet schedules and objectives
• Recommend policy changes and establish procedures for the immediate team
• Become an expert on Airwallex's financial infrastructure platform and help organisations grow their business globally
• Lead the RFP management process and work with commercial, product, engineering, legal and operations teams to ensure consistent, accurate responses
• Use experience in customer-facing or consulting roles to craft complex solutions and oversee go-live outcomes, owning the most challenging solution projects

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with strong academic achievements
• 8+ years in a similar customer-facing engineering role such as solution consultant, solutions architect or sales engineer for a global software enterprise
• 2+ years in a team-leader capacity
• Preferred: knowledge of the payments domain or financial services, and hands-on experience building product solutions internally or in consulting
