Senior Mechanical Engineer

About the role

Join Aurecon's Singapore Buildings business as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, contributing to complex building and infrastructure projects worldwide. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to bring innovative engineering ideas to life.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of projects from initial design through construction and final review.
• Collaborate with local and regional design disciplines to ensure overall design integrity.
• Manage project components, budgets, schedules, quality assurance, and client feedback.
• Assist in workload management, resource forecasting, and proposal preparation.
• Review and ensure compliance of drawings, reports, specifications, and surveys.
• Build and maintain effective client relationships and identify business opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5‑8 years of experience in building mechanical design and commissioning of M&E systems.
• Experience with modern commercial, industrial, and preferably data centre projects.
• Strong project management abilities and leadership of technical delivery.
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of relevant engineering codes, standards, and practices.
