Senior Merchant Account Manager (Retail/FMCG)

About the role

Grab is looking for a Senior Merchant Account Manager to join its team responsible for growing and managing Enterprise Retail merchant accounts and Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) businesses. The role works closely with merchants and partners to develop plans and strategies that drive their sales across Grab services such as GrabMart and GrabPay.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage strong business relationships with key GrabMart and GrabPay merchants and FMCG partners to drive their growth
• Lead account management, including business identification, business development strategy, partner negotiation, day-to-day account management and execution of key initiatives
• Enable account growth measured by GMV and advertising revenue, and deepen ties through collaboration in GrabAds and GrabExpress
• Work with Account Management Leads and the Head of Merchants on each account's business development strategy
• Analyze merchant performance data and create actionable plans to optimize growth and revenue
• Develop and execute strategies to grow merchant sales and collaborate across Grab's verticals
• Engage accounts to understand their needs, concerns and objectives, and tailor offers such as customized reporting, marketing support, integrations and products
• Work with operations teams to drive operational excellence, and with business teams to run joint business plans, regular reviews and pitch strategic initiatives

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business / Management or equivalent
• 3 or more years of account management, sales, business development or partnerships experience (preferred)
• Able to manage conversations with C-level executives and senior stakeholders
• Comfortable analyzing data and providing comprehensive solutions to customer needs
