Senior Partner Operations Manager - APAC

About the role

Wise is hiring a Senior Partner Operations Manager for its Wise Platform in the APAC region. You will own the operational strategy and day-to-day execution for a portfolio of high-value enterprise partners, working with the Account Management team and cross-functional teams to keep partners operationally stable and growing.

Key responsibilities

• Set and drive the strategy for operational performance and volume retention, working with Account Management on partnership operations.
• Resolve root causes of issues with partners, acting as the final escalation point and running business review meetings.
• Use data to track retention metrics such as transfer success, contact rates and customer satisfaction, and implement initiatives that reduce churn.
• Own operational success plans and quarterly business reviews, presenting data analysis and progress updates to partners.
• Advocate for partner needs, influencing product roadmaps and raising improvement areas based on partner and customer feedback.
• Optimise internal and external processes and develop trusted relationships with senior stakeholders at partner organisations.
• Influence partners to use endpoints and webhooks to send transaction data via API to Wise, and help automate support operations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of operations experience, with a track record managing enterprise or large corporate clients.
• Experience driving projects that improve operational metrics and SLAs with measurable results.
• Strong stakeholder management, including influencing C-level executives and working with Product, Compliance and Engineering.
• Nice to have: prior payments or banking experience, knowledge of correspondent banking, experience with Tier 1 or Tier 2 banks or large fintechs, familiarity with AML, KYC and PSD2, and leadership of technical onboarding projects.

• Technical fluency: understanding APIs, webhooks and system integrations, with the ability to discuss technical solutions with engineers.
• Clear communication of complex technical and operational concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
