Senior Payroll Specialist

About the role

Datadog is hiring a Senior Payroll Specialist in Singapore to support its Singapore and India payroll operations, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time in line with local laws. The role sits within the People team, which values collaboration, personal development and a hybrid workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Payroll processing and leave administration
• Maintain time and attendance processes
• Ensure timely remittance of Singapore's CPF and India's EPF, ESIC and Professional Tax
• Onboarding and offboarding
• Ad hoc projects

Required profile

• In-depth understanding of payroll regulations across multiple countries (Singapore, India and Indonesia) is ideal but not required
• Experience setting up, configuring and deploying new payroll systems and implementing payroll in a new country
• Exposure to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements as applicable to payroll
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with attention to detail
• Comfortable applying AI tools to streamline repetitive, high-volume payroll work

Required skills

• Proficiency in payroll software and systems; experience with an outsourcing provider, Workday or similar is preferred
• Intermediate Excel or Google Sheets, including formulas and functions
