Senior Principal Analyst - VIP & Events (1-Year Contract)

About the role

The Energy Market Authority (EMA) is seeking motivated and organised individuals for a 1-year contract to support Singapore's ASEAN Chairmanship 2027. The incumbent plays a key role in VIP and Events Management, supporting the planning, coordination and execution of ASEAN-related meetings and engagements hosted by EMA during 2027. The role calls for strong coordination, communication and project management skills, working with government agencies, event organisers and local and international stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as EMA's main liaison with government agencies to arrange hospitality and protocol for ASEAN delegates and VIPs.
• Plan, coordinate and oversee VIP protocol arrangements, including seating, hospitality and transport.
• Manage and oversee the liaison officers supporting ASEAN meetings and events.
• Act as the primary contact for appointed event organisers and vendors to ensure smooth execution.
• Track and manage event budgets and expenditure, keeping records properly.

Required profile

• Experience in public sector and events management is advantageous.
• Strong organisational and project management skills, able to handle multiple workstreams at once.
• Meticulous, resourceful and able to work independently in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to engage senior stakeholders and international counterparts professionally.
