Senior Process Engineer – Metrology

About the role

As a Senior Process Engineer specializing in Metrology, you will lead the set‑up, optimisation and qualification of measurement processes for new and existing semiconductor manufacturing equipment. You will drive continuous improvement, ensure equipment reliability and support the manufacturing line with technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engineers to develop and qualify metrology recipes for new processes, tools and equipment.
• Conduct equipment, tool and measurement qualification and assess recipe robustness.
• Manage equipment failures using Statistical Process Control, perform FMEA and implement predictive maintenance.
• Motivate a team of engineers to provide day‑to‑day line support, troubleshoot complex issues and drive automation solutions.
• Document processes, maintain electronic specifications and ensure compliance with qualification procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in metrology processes within a semiconductor fab.
• Proven technology‑transfer experience with fab‑specific metrology tools.

Required skills

• Thin‑film, critical‑dimension and resistivity metrology expertise.
• Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
• Predictive maintenance and automation implementation.
• Process qualification and documentation.
