Senior Procurement Specialist

About the role

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to lead governance, strategy and execution of sourcing activities across its aerospace manufacturing operations in Singapore. The role combines strategic sourcing, supplier performance management and digital transformation to drive cost efficiency and risk mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead procurement governance, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, ethics, global trade and EH&S requirements.
• Develop and execute category and sourcing strategies aligned with cost, risk and supplier performance objectives.
• Drive strategic sourcing initiatives such as RFQs, RFPs, competitive bidding, negotiations and contract structuring.
• Own supplier and contract performance management, including KPI/SLA governance and regular business reviews.
• Manage vendor lifecycle activities including onboarding, due‑diligence and risk assessment.
• Rationalise the supplier base to improve efficiency and performance.
• Lead procurement digitalisation and automation projects to enhance process efficiency and data visibility.
• Oversee procurement reporting and analytics, including spend analysis, savings tracking and compliance monitoring.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Finance, Operations, Engineering and other key stakeholders.

Required profile

• Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong experience in procurement, sourcing or supply‑chain management, preferably in manufacturing or aerospace.
• Proven capability in supplier negotiation and contract management.
• Excellent analytical skills with experience in spend and performance analysis.
• Effective stakeholder management and communication abilities.
