Senior QA Analyst (IT) - 1 Year Contract

About the role

MS First Capital, a wholly owned entity of the Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance (MSI) Group active in non-life insurance in Singapore and across Asia, is looking for an experienced Senior QA Analyst on a 1-year fixed-term contract. The role supports core modernization initiatives, focusing on User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across Data Analytics platforms, Power BI reporting and UiPath automation solutions, and ensures the accuracy, reliability and business readiness of data-driven insights and automated processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, prepare and execute UAT test scenarios and test cases
• Validate data accuracy from source systems to reports, business logic, KPIs and calculations, dashboard functionality and usability
• Perform data reconciliation using SQL or other tools
• Coordinate with business stakeholders for UAT execution and sign-off
• Track, report and manage defects through resolution
• Test end-to-end UiPath automation workflows, including process logic, error handling, exception scenarios and integration with upstream and downstream systems
• Conduct regression testing for robot releases and support UAT cycles for automation deployments
• Define and implement the UAT strategy, including test plans, schedules, entry and exit criteria, test metrics and reporting
• Drive structured defect management, identify opportunities to automate testing and contribute to QA best practices

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in QA / testing roles
• Strong experience in UAT for Data Analytics / BI platforms, including hands-on testing of Power BI dashboards and reports
• Experience in data migration or transformation projects
• Knowledge of data quality and governance frameworks
• Experience testing RPA / workflows is a plus

Required skills

• Solid understanding of data models, ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
• Proficiency in SQL for data validation
• Understanding of the automation lifecycle and exception handling
• Test case design and execution, and UAT coordination and stakeholder management
