Senior QA Engineer – 12-month contract

About the role

We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to lead customer‑focused quality activities for a 12‑month term at our pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Singapore. The role will support the Customer QA Manager, drive investigations, and champion continuous improvement across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer complaints and feedback, ensuring timely, accurate responses and root‑cause investigations.
• Host and represent the company during customer audits.
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
• Lead quality improvement projects, applying Lean, Kaizen, and A4/A3 problem‑solving methodologies.
• Support internal and shop‑floor audits and maintain ISO 15378 / ISO 9001 compliance.
• Prepare QA performance reports, train junior engineers, and mentor the plant QA team.
• Drive right‑first‑time culture by analysing complaint and audit trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of QA experience in pharmaceutical or medical‑device manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP, ISO 15378 and ISO 9001 standards.
• Proven ability to lead investigations, CAPA implementation and audit preparation.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently.
