Senior Recruiter – Industrial Hiring Team Lead

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Recruiter to lead our onsite recruitment operations for an industrial client. The role combines team leadership with hands‑on talent acquisition, ensuring both strategic oversight and direct contribution to urgent hiring needs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support a team of onsite recruiters to meet hiring targets.
• Serve as the primary liaison with the client, understanding workforce needs and maintaining strong relationships.
• Participate directly in sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for high‑priority roles.
• Oversee the full recruitment cycle—from sourcing to onboarding—to guarantee timely, quality hires.
• Monitor recruitment metrics such as time‑to‑hire, cost‑per‑hire, and quality of hire, reporting progress to client and internal leadership.
• Identify bottlenecks, propose improvements, and implement more efficient recruitment processes.
• Enhance the client’s employer brand by delivering a positive candidate experience.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of recruitment experience, with at least 3 years focused on direct labour or manufacturing roles.
• Proven leadership ability to mentor recruiters and drive team performance.
• Strong communication skills to manage client expectations and align stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset to track KPIs and use data for continuous improvement.
• Adaptability to adjust strategies based on client needs and market changes.
• In‑depth knowledge of Malaysia’s labour market and workforce regulations.
