Senior Recruiter / Team Lead (Onsite Recruitment Operations)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Recruiter / Team Lead to run onsite recruitment operations for a manufacturing client. The position blends hands‑on talent acquisition for direct‑labour roles with leadership of a recruitment team, ensuring timely hiring across production, assembly, logistics, warehouse and clean‑room functions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for direct‑labour and manufacturing positions, including material handlers, machine operators and assembly workers.
• Partner with hiring managers and operational leaders to understand workforce forecasts, role specifications and hiring priorities.
• Source, screen, assess and shortlist candidates through job portals, social media, referrals, vocational institutions and career fairs.
• Conduct interviews and candidate assessments, ensuring quality and fit‑for‑role.
• Coordinate interview scheduling, offer management, onboarding activities and handover to HR operations.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines to support ongoing and future hiring needs.
• Provide guidance on sourcing strategies, candidate engagement and stakeholder management to the recruitment team.
• Monitor individual and team performance, ensuring compliance with recruitment processes and best practices.
• Serve as the primary liaison for client stakeholders, delivering regular hiring updates, market insights and workforce recommendations.
• Develop innovative sourcing strategies, identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance hiring efficiency and candidate experience.
• Support employer‑branding initiatives and track recruitment metrics such as time‑to‑fill, offer acceptance rate and early attrition.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level recruitment experience, preferably within manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a recruitment team.
• Strong stakeholder‑management and communication skills.
• Data‑driven mindset with the ability to analyse recruitment metrics.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet aggressive hiring targets.
