Senior Recruitment Consultant – Quantitative Finance & Trading

About the role

Anson McCade is seeking an ambitious Senior Recruitment Consultant to expand its Quantitative Finance & Trading practice across APAC. You will join a growing Singapore team, work on live mandates from day one, and develop relationships with elite hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, market makers and investment banks.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit across specialist quantitative, trading and AI/ML markets, supporting systematic, semi‑systematic and discretionary trading businesses.
• Network extensively, conduct targeted headhunting of high‑calibre quantitative, trading, research and technology professionals.
• Manage candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle, from engagement to offer negotiation.
• Build detailed understanding of clients’ businesses, investment strategies, team structures and hiring needs.
• Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with both existing and new clients across Singapore and the wider APAC region.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 + years of agency recruitment experience within Capital Markets, Quantitative Finance or Trading.
• Strong understanding of the quantitative finance and trading ecosystem, or a proven ability to acquire technical knowledge quickly.
• Excellent communication, organisational and relationship‑building skills.
• Commercially minded with a goal‑focused, target‑oriented mindset.
• Permanent right to work in Singapore (citizen or permanent resident).
