Senior Reliability Engineer

About the role

GlobalFoundries is looking for a Senior Reliability Engineer to support the development, qualification and reliability assessment of advanced semiconductor technologies. The role covers reliability stress testing, evaluation of device and product lifecycles and identification of reliability risks, working with internal teams, customers and external vendors on test setup, execution, analysis and technical engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, execute and analyse reliability testing for SRAM, Flash, NVM, OTP, MTP and eFUSE technologies, including periodic reliability monitoring.
• Work with customers, vendors and internal stakeholders to design and implement hardware and software solutions for reliability characterization.
• Develop wafer-level and package-level reliability test methodologies and test programs.
• Prepare technical reliability presentations, support customer visits and take part in reliability risk assessment discussions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree in Engineering, Science or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in Reliability, Device Physics or Semiconductor Testing.
• Knowledge of wafer fabrication processes.
• Knowledge of MOS device physics and reliability statistics.
• Preferred: strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, ability to work under tight project timelines.
