About the role
The Senior Resident Engineer – Tunnel will support the Qualified Person (Supervision) in all technical aspects of tunnel supervision, ensuring compliance with LTA specifications, BCA regulations and safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the QP (Supervision) with technical matters and performance monitoring.
- Supervise contractor works against approved drawings, ensuring safety, material quality and workmanship.
- Maintain site records and documentation to support statutory duties.
- Liaise with client, consultants and other contractors to resolve technical and interfacing issues.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering recognized by the PE Board Singapore.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant civil engineering experience.
- At least 4 years supervising tunnelling works.
- Accredited Resident Engineer (Tunnel) under IES/ACES Specialist Accreditation Programme.
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of civil and structural details, working drawings and MRT construction.
- Experience with tunnelling supervision and site documentation.
- Good supervisory and leadership abilities.
