Senior Software Engineer (Java, React)

About the role

A well-established technology company, recruiting through Michael Page, is looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Singapore. The role involves designing, developing and maintaining software solutions, working on a variety of new projects in a large-scale, innovative environment. It is a permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test and deploy high-quality software solutions to meet project requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement system architectures.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability and security of software applications.
• Take part in code reviews to maintain coding standards and best practices.
• Identify and address technical challenges or bottlenecks in the software development lifecycle.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.

Required profile

• At least 4 years of working experience in software development.
• Experience designing and implementing scalable system architectures.
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude towards learning new technologies.

Required skills

• Backend: Java, Python or C++
• Frontend: Next.js, Redux and JavaScript
