Senior Software Engineer, UI (FICCO)

About the role

DRW, a diversified trading firm, is seeking an outstanding Senior Software Engineer to join its options trading desk in Singapore. The role focuses on designing, building, and implementing data‑intensive trading applications and tools, working closely with quantitative researchers, traders, and other developers in an algorithmic trading team.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain desktop applications and reusable libraries using C# and modern .NET.
• Develop and maintain systems to ensure performance, integrity, reliability, logging, and traceability for mission‑critical production systems.
• Profile and improve rendering, memory usage, concurrency, reactive data pipelines, and application startup performance.
• Collaborate with quantitative researchers, traders, and other developers throughout the software lifecycle.
• Leverage AI‑assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and improve software quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience, primarily building C#/.NET desktop applications.
• Strong understanding of C# UI development and associated tooling.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment that adopts the latest technologies.
• Effective communication skills and ability to produce architecture documentation.
• Awareness of emerging technologies and standards.
