Senior Solution Architect

About the role

As a key member of the Singapore Architecture Office, you will drive strategic technology initiatives that enable business transformation. You will act as a trusted advisor, bridging business and technology to deliver innovative solutions and guide modernization efforts. The role requires strong leadership, adaptability and the ability to turn complex business needs into scalable, secure and future-ready architectures. Working arrangement is hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technology innovation and digital transformation solutions to deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Design and implement cloud-native, microservices-based architectures that are scalable, resilient and secure.
• Champion AI adoption for automation, process optimization and architecture modernization.
• Conduct POCs, technical assessments and feasibility studies on emerging technologies.
• Partner with customer experience and marketing to improve net promoter scores and create upsell opportunities.
• Build AI-driven solutions and tools to improve the sales experience of distributors and partners.
• Work with product owners, business analysts and engineering teams to turn requirements into technical blueprints.
• Ensure compliance with security, data governance and regulatory standards.
• Present solution architectures in governance forums locally and across Asia.
• Act as an internal consultant on business transformation proposals and evaluate vendor solutions for architecture risk, security, resiliency and availability.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect with strong exposure to digital transformation.
• Solid understanding of Machine Learning and Generative AI technologies.
• Ability to influence stakeholders, manage multiple priorities and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
• Insurance domain knowledge is a plus.

Required skills

• Cloud-native microservices (Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, OCI).
• Application security, architectural frameworks and engineering best practices (Agile, DevOps, CI/CD).
• Familiarity with architecture-as-code design.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field preferred.
• Certifications in cloud platforms or AI technologies are a plus.
