Senior Specialist, Global People Services (HR)

About the role

Micron is hiring a Senior Specialist for its Global People Services (HR) function. The role supports the PROX project execution for GPSS transformation initiatives, with a focus on AI enablement, automation, productivity improvement and digital service delivery. It coordinates project activities, translates business needs into implementation inputs, supports testing and rollout, enables stakeholder adoption and tracks measurable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Assess demand trends, recurring service issues, manual effort and process pain points to prioritise AI, automation and self-service use cases.
• Translate business needs into use case requirements, process inputs, test scenarios, rollout materials and success measures with PROX, GPSS and technology partners.
• Coordinate pilots, UAT, rollout, issue resolution, documentation, adoption support and post-implementation reviews.
• Prepare communications, update knowledge content and develop user guidance to drive change readiness.
• Track productivity, experience and adoption outcomes to shape continuous improvement.
• Analyse workflows and service processes to reduce manual effort, cycle time, rework and repeat enquiries, and report gains through dashboards and trackers.
• Manage day-to-day project activities, milestones, risks and issues, and prepare presentations, business case inputs, decision papers and trackers.
• Partner with HR COEs, GPSS leaders, technology teams and vendors to deliver digital, automation, AI and self-service initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Management, Information Systems, Technology, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HR Operations, Shared Services, HR Transformation, PMO, Project Management or Project Execution.
• Experience supporting or coordinating digital transformation, automation, AI or technology-enabled initiatives.
• Ability to turn business requirements into use cases, process requirements, testing scenarios, rollout plans and implementation activities.
• Strong project coordination, analytical, stakeholder management and communication skills.
• High level of professionalism and discretion with confidential employee and business information.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and collaboration platforms.
• Experience with dashboards, reports, trackers and operational metrics.
• Hands-on experience with AI-enabled productivity tools, GenAI, chatbots, workflow automation or digital self-service is highly desirable.
• Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement or Operational Excellence, and to HR technology platforms such as Workday or ServiceNow HRSD is highly desirable.
