Senior / Staff Nurse - Wound & Stoma Care

About the role

JurongHealth Campus, part of NUHS, is recruiting a Senior / Staff Nurse for specialty care in wound and stoma care. The nurse provides high-quality patient care across inpatient, outpatient and community hospital settings, supporting patients and carers with complex wounds and stomas.

Key responsibilities

• Support clinical areas in managing complex wounds and stomas
• Provide expert clinical knowledge to patients and support patients and carers
• Be accountable for the assessment, planning and delivery of patient care for complex wounds and stomas
• Provide personalised, holistic care and support patients living with complex wounds and stomas
• Support inpatient, outpatient and community hospital patients
• Educate and train patients, relatives and hospital staff, and give clinical advice
• Act as a resource for managing patients with complex wounds in the clinical setting
• Comply with the hospital's mission, vision and core values

Required profile

• Degree in Nursing or State Registered Nurse certificate
• Advanced Nursing Diploma or equivalent preferred for the Senior Staff Nurse position
• Recognised wound care qualification needed for the Nurse Clinician position
• Minimum 5 years in clinical practice, including 3 years in an inpatient setting
• Experience managing complex wounds is an added advantage
