Senior Star Guide

About the role

The Senior Star Guide plays a pivotal part in daily show operations at a theme park, ensuring performer safety, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and supporting venue coordination. This senior position also mentors new team members and assists with costume changes to maintain brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor performers during sets to guarantee their safety and well‑being.
• Provide guests with park information, handle feedback and service recovery during shows, meet‑and‑greets, and parades.
• Support Star Guide Supervisors and Stage Managers with venue management and daily coordination.
• Coach new team members on standard procedures and operational guidelines.
• Assist with dressing and undressing performers, ensuring costumes meet IP standards.

Required profile

• Diploma or WSQ equivalent in Hospitality & Tourism, Theatre, TV, Events or related field.
• Minimum 1‑2 years of relevant industry experience.
• Willingness to work shift patterns, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in hot, humid or wet conditions.
