Senior Tax Manager

About the role

Coins, the pioneer crypto brand in the Philippines, is hiring a Senior Tax Manager in Singapore. The role builds the group's corporate tax structure across the Philippines, Singapore, Australia, the EU and other regions, and advises on tax implications of domestic and cross-border transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Build the global corporate tax structure covering PH, SG, AU, EU and other regions.
• Review and analyse financial statements and tax returns to keep tax costs reasonable.
• Monitor entities for adherence to tax laws and BIR filing deadlines.
• Help develop policies that promote tax compliance.
• Manage tax cases with regulators and represent the finance team in tax audits and related matters.
• Advise on the tax implications of domestic and cross-border transactions and propose tax-efficient alternatives.
• Identify and mitigate tax risks through effective controls.
• Keep up with tax updates, interpret requirements and anticipate their impact on the business.
• Work with business units to evaluate pricing strategies and the implications of tax issues.

Required profile

• CPA or CPA-Lawyer with a Certificate of Accreditation as a Tax Practitioner.
• At least 8 years of progressive tax experience, preferably in Big Four firms or large multinationals.
• Experience building corporate tax structures and recent tax-related experience within the last twelve months.
• Demonstrated leadership and personnel management abilities.
