Senior Technical Services Manager

About the role

The Senior Technical Services Manager will lead the Technical Services team at Pfizer's new Tuas API facility, driving scientific and technical excellence across API manufacturing and validation.

Key responsibilities

• Support HAZOP and FMEA studies for all products manufactured at the site.
• Implement and maintain robust product and process knowledge‑management systems.
• Use data‑driven methods to identify process improvement opportunities and prevent issues.
• Provide technical support for routine production and lead investigations when needed.
• Partner with New Product Introduction leads to ensure seamless tech‑transfer and commercialization.
• Lead high‑priority cost‑improvement and Next‑Gen projects, both internal and external.
• Build and maintain effective relationships across Pfizer, industry partners, and academia.
• Deliver technical excellence through laboratory facilities, analytical techniques, PAT applications and new technologies.
• Handle regulatory queries, review distressed inventory and develop remediation strategies.
• Lead, mentor and develop a multidisciplinary scientific team.

Required profile

• Senior‑level leader with experience in API manufacturing, validation and process development.
• Proven ability to develop and execute sustainable technical strategies.
• Strong stakeholder management skills across internal and external partners.
• Track record of driving continuous improvement and innovation.
